I'm an NM peep here. New to the site, but not to the MX6. I'm on the east side with a white 93 MX6. The car looks stock... I do autocross and roadracing with SCCA, among other track activities.

There's going to be some cheap track time comming up at sandia motorsports park in october. I'd love to see a few people with 6's show up, I know there's a few around.

Welcome! Actually most of the people with mx6's are active on probetalk.com NM rather than here. Swing by and say hi. Definitely let me know when the next event is. I won't be racing but I'll bring out the mx6.

Come and get some low cost track time. Friday night, October 26th Sandia Motorsports park will have their next friday night "street racing" event.

The action starts around 4pm and should continue till 10pm or later. Cost should be about $20. You can show up at anytime. The format is 3-4 lap sessions on the roadcourse with three cars on track at a time with about 30 seconds of spacing between them. Cars of similar speed potential are grouped together. The groups keep running till late at night.

While this event is designed for the "montgomery crowd/kids", this is about the cheapest track time you'll ever find. There are also plenty of people who show up with real race cars, not just the rice you see cruising around abq.

I plan to be there with the mx6 and maybe the racecar as well.

Sandia MotorSport Park-Sandia Motor Speedway for directions. They'll have more info posted as the even grows closer.

I'm living in Abq now, was living in Maine before trying to walk Mexico->Canada on the PCT with my wife last year.

I live near the base. Some gangstas got interruped trying to steal my stock 15" LS alloy wheels. They got the back two but fortunately I still have the fronts, thanks to my neighbors yelling at them and calling the cops. Left it up on two cinderblocks. I got rid of my wheel lug locks a long time ago, they stripped after too much abuse from tire shops.

Can't imagine they're worth more than $50 a piece with the [shizzle] tires that were on them. At least they left it on blocks and I don't have to put new rear rotors on. They had at least that much kindness I guess.

I'm still in ABQ. I am going to be selling my 91 mx6 GT soon. I'm asking $2000 but negotiable. If interested PM me. I'm also on Probetalk.com. I've been on both forums for years just not lately with family and going back to school.
