Finally, it's here!

Done by OPM Autosport out of Cummins Georgia, they originally designed this setup and used them in SCCA World Challenge Protege's, a few of which are still run today. They've been very popular with a lot of Honda guys in Road Race and AutoCross circles and for $750+shipping a bargain compared to $1300 for the Quaiffe, which doesn't just drop right in.

Stock differential machined to accept the spring blocks, machined all purty, side gears and diff housing machined to accept the clutches:

Closeup of Clutches:

You can just see the machining done on the diff pin:

Drilled and rol-pinned diff pin:

I'm incredibly excited for this, and naturally can't wait to try it out. Clutch, flywheel, new trans mounts and some redline are ready to go...Just have to put the trans back together

It was a lot less than a quiaffe, and shitloads more reliable than a Phantom Slip, but a decent chunk, $750 plus shipping.

It's in the trans now, hopefully in the car tomorrow

My car is getting my pro kit installed on it right now my dunlop tires took a dump on me yesterday and I figured since they would already have the car up there might as well get the springs on

I'm torn between selling my mx6 or racing it when I get it fixed. I could really use a change of scenery. As in getting a jeep.
My Volvo yields a high price, probably a grand more than I bought it for.

1st Gen or 2nd Gen? I'd imagine a 1st Gen would be a little harder to AutoX. (Don't tell gavin that though!)

Feel free to come post in the Utah thread. WE are alot more active and there are lots of AutoX posts! I used to race my MX6 AutoX w/ Ryan, but now I'll be driving a BMW 325i. Still have the MX6, just needs a new engine!

P.S. Jeeping's fun .... not mearly a much as AutoX in my opinion though!

I'm not sure if you're aware of this but my dad and I have been co-driving a 325is in DSP...

And Ryan, you probably know Fauth... he sold his DSP bimmer to another guy who is local. So no more Fauth in that car.

AWESOME!

No, I wasn't aware of that ... but I've seen that picture somewhere before! DSP is definately the sport for that car ... just don' have the funds to be competitive at all there. (It seems like everyone is scared of the possible E36 SP class changes and selling though!) Plus, this is the first year with the 325. I'm still debating whether I will be running STX or DS. Stock isn't so frustrating, not being able to touch much of anything, but I don't have what I need/want to for STX either.
