I fired the "Reference Voltage Supply". Basically, I sent current to the pcm and destroyed something or something like that.
If you want to read the original thread...
http://forums.probetalk.com/showthre...hlight=tps+pcm

Now that I think about it, it may be a problem related to your mx.
To let you know, I got a pcm from Mike Hughes in the for sale forum for 35 $ shipped. You will need the exact pcm for the year car your motor is from, just a general rule of thumb. Search for which pcm works with which years.

Hey Guys, just wanted to say hi. I just recently bought a '91 626 GT. I'll look forward to meeting some of you guys this summer. I've got my hands full with this project.

Do you guys meet up at the Hamburger Stand frequently, or do you go elsewhere?

I do not have any plans to head up that way. What kind of tests are you going to do, maybe I can help you without having to go up.

Well turns out the car is fixed. I think it was a combination of a bad disty, bad ecu, low battery and a little bit of a miracle...still cant say what fixed it, I dont know myself....

Anyways it is up and running once again. I can hear some detonation, which is partly caused by the wrong tuning of the 1.8L ECU i am running right now.

Whatever the case is, a WS6 trans am, restored el camino, and B16A civic all fell victim to the little eggshell on the streets last night

I was quite surprised. Not much smoke really, but most the time I was diagnosing it I left the fuel pump disconnected so it did not pump fuel in.

However now I'm running a K8 ecu and it runs totally wrong, smokes black at idle and detonates when I get into boost. Bad news. Tomorrow I'm going to get a 94 2.5 ECU in cheyenne then I will be coming down to the burger stand.

I've got a 1991 626 turbo 70 amp alternator available. It is the factory mistubishi unit...not a reman. It is functional, but needs new bearings. It has 142k on it. I'll give it away for free, but you have to come pick it up.

PM ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

Went to cheyenne and got my ECU today.

Supercharged Z28 @ 5 psi with exhaust went down, as well as a turbo supra and a 14.0 sec 5.0 mustang. So far the turtle is undefeated

Haha, well I'm running a 12:1 FMU, 190 LPH fuel pump, AND 2 cold start injectors activated at 4 psi. That should put me in the 10-11:1 a/f which is perfectly safe for 91 octane. I had some detonation with the K8 ECU, and believe it or not the car was a lot faster
oh well, the KL ecu is safer for it...

Me and my friend are going to dyno within the next couple weeks. I'm thinking around 210 whp on 5 psi.
