Oh, Nick I forgot to mention last week, I like your new sig.

Those are so neat...I like the 'FIRSTGEN' Licence plate, that is just awesome. First time I think I've ever seen one of those, I know I've never seen one on the streets. Restoration plans or you just want one?

I don't know if I'd drive that civic or not...it looks good in a super old school way....but...it's a civic, and it looks funky.

One of my friends's mom had one of those. Green. Haven't seen it or the friend in over 12 years.
Ryan, how's that red probe coming along?

Thanks about the sig.
Havnn't had time to mess with the idel issue for the past few days. I am slammed with writing papers and preparing presentations. Hopefully I can mess with it this weekend.
I don't know what to look at though. The idle adjustment screw is all the way down and the cable is as far foward as it can come. I havn't adjusted the TPS yet. Maybe that is the ticket. We will see.
Bill, how did you set yours. I remember you saying that it worked better for you than the ways that are mentioned other places on this board.
Oh, and the IM and VC's look awsome. I should bring it down so you guys can take a look.

I'd like it as a project car, people at work say it's totally me too. Ha ha. I even get that same "I MUST HAVE IT" feeling like when I first saw the mx6.

Like 'Bow chicka wow' funky? It IS from the 70's, lol.

I just like the style, really. That and the fact that it's carbureted is a HUGE plus for me. It's all about simplicity, you don't have to deal with computers or 'new fangled' emissions systems. I think it would just be more fun to work on than the mx6, basically...

Red Probe is coming along well. Paint and Bondo is all sanded off...nothing but bare metal left over

HOPEFULLY I'll have the money soon to finish it. I'm still debating on whether I want to do all the bondo work myself or pay somebody...Worst case I can get most of it on and if I suck I can still pay somebody to make it perfect...Then paint...Yay.

And fuuucking drunk people...I shit you not, after wendover I had four more door dings in my gad damn car than I did before...I'm NEVER parking in a casino lot again, fuck all those drunk ass bastards...

Luckily they were all on the door that needs re-painted anyway...

did you get them?

Anyone want some pretty good 5x7/6x8 speakers? come get them and give me $20 for them, they claim to be 500w/pair, but they sound more like some polk 6x8's i had. good sound, though, never installed.

I also have a nose hair trimmer in sealed package. ryan, maybe you could use this to help with your problem....you know...

Ryan, do you want my EGT gauge and wiring?

If the speakers will fit in the 2nd gen probes, I may take them. Brian's suck ass. They are so blown, lol.
So Bill, no reply today? Or is he still down in AZ?

Grin

Hey Ryan,

I actually had this civic, mine was the dark metallic brown, with alloys. I bought it for $400.00 back in 87', I put a %$**# load of miles on it and it never once caused me any problems. I drove it to Davis,Ca.(by Sacramento) from San Diego pretty much every weekend for a year. It was so easy to work on and man it had the best gas mileage.
We once put like 8 people in it just to see how many we could stuff and close the doors still (lol)

Ahhh, those were the lazy days of irresponsibility, now I am just old and have to work all the time.

Till the end of the month guys,

Mike

Working all the time...yes indeed...I'll be tooling around the house for a few hours this afternoon...packing a couple things to ship, working on Goldy, looking at my new FD rims and thinking of putting them on...you know the good stuff.

Feel free to call and swing by!
