I personally haven't. My friend had one that was turbo.. but he didn't know much about tuning at the time. And he went through engines like a hot knife through butter. He was boosting KLs with stock injectors, MAF, and no fuel management... no AFPR no FMU nothing.. so that was his issue. My buddy i bought the turbo off of didn't had some minor issues, popped piston, couple blown motors, but his conclusion is that it was tune based. And another buddy, has a Turbo PGT. Running 15psi, and just recently went through his first motor.. and he's been turbo'd for a while. He forgot to put a clamp on once of the vacuum hoses to his boost controller so his Engine saw ungodly amounts of boost.
I'm sure he would be willing to help you tune the car if you got a MSnS system. And if you just run off Wastegate ~7-8psi, you dont have to worry TOO much about boost spike. a good guage with a warning light is a great thing to have just incase, but it all depends on your budget.
