HI!!!! gosh havnt been in here forever. i finally dragged my car at the track. went to SIR. first time with the car since kit, paint, and ZE. also first time since i had Angel. my car is SLOW!! 16.9 was the fastest of the night. i think it was faster with the base 6cyl. also found out the car weights 2800lbs with me in it.... i need a nice newer motor.. screw this ZE..

thanks man same for you!!! At the moment i'm working on a overheating issue which messed up a gasket or two, so I'm between a new to me engine or fixing heads. So what do you have on your ride so far?

My MX6 is bone stock, all the way to the airbox. Stole stereo mod and all. I picked it up cause i know enough about fixing it (3 motor swaps on my full bolt on PGT). Saw it on CL for $350. It started to over heat, was on the way to a shop, overheated and died, then it wouldn't start. So my first thought was a blown HG... which in turn happened to be the case, tore it apart fixed the gasket, and fired it up, purred like a kitten. then it started to overheat again while idling... turned out it was a bad Thermostat and it failed closed and was just letting hot water sit in the motor. so $60 for a complete gasket kit, and $10 for a thermostat car runs like a dream.

I'm gonna leave it stock because its good on gas. and has A/C and KL tend to be REALLY reliable before modding.

I've got my Foxbody for the go fast modding to be done on.

If your lookin to turbo let me know i have a 90% complete KL turbo setup ready for 8psi

you'll need Injectors, MSns or 12:1 FMU, battery relocation kit... and i think thats about it. Unless you wanna buy a new WG spring and run like 5psi but injectors would still be suggested. I bought the kit for $2500 and that was with MS and Injectors.

What you would get:
Turbo
Oil feed and returns
Hot pipes (designed to use stock logs; also have these as well)
Tapped Oil pan
Cold pipes
Intercooler
GReddy BOV
Testpipe
I also have a set of KLZE cams i could throw in for the DE/ZE cam mix for "Backyard turbo cams"

Lookin to get like $1500 obo thats $1000 off what i payed and i never even installed it

I saw your ad on craigslist, at the moment i need to either fix the engine or get another one. Luckly I found somone who is willing to sell me an engine for $350, if so and you still ahve the kit later Imma get it, I have big plans for the engine coming out, built it from scratch an for a turbo sys. u know bigger and lower compression piston ect.

Head gasket is ALOT cheaper then $350 engine...

Yeah... but its been proven with a good tune a stock KL will hold and survive 14-15psi. But it doesnt hurt to have a spare KL. There is a guy up here in PHX that is pretty good with MS, and Cross down in Tucson is familiar with MS tuning

Just Like i'll be getting a 351w to start throwing together once i get my turbo for the Fox

good to know, well the guy who offered the engine hasn't replied yet so Imma start doing the HG on the current engine. have you ever owned a turbo LS? if so did you have any problems?

I personally haven't. My friend had one that was turbo.. but he didn't know much about tuning at the time. And he went through engines like a hot knife through butter. He was boosting KLs with stock injectors, MAF, and no fuel management... no AFPR no FMU nothing.. so that was his issue. My buddy i bought the turbo off of didn't had some minor issues, popped piston, couple blown motors, but his conclusion is that it was tune based. And another buddy, has a Turbo PGT. Running 15psi, and just recently went through his first motor.. and he's been turbo'd for a while. He forgot to put a clamp on once of the vacuum hoses to his boost controller so his Engine saw ungodly amounts of boost.

I'm sure he would be willing to help you tune the car if you got a MSnS system. And if you just run off Wastegate ~7-8psi, you dont have to worry TOO much about boost spike. a good guage with a warning light is a great thing to have just incase, but it all depends on your budget. There are some video's online of his PGT beating some pretty quick cars up here.
