Looks like scattered showers are predicted for Friday. I wonder if things will be clear for the evening. I'm coming down with a nasty cold so I'll be resting this weekend. Argh... I hate cold season. Good luck with the racing! Post up some times and kills here so we can see what happened. Anyone got a digicam?

At least the weather here's not like Winnipeg! Holy cow, they got tons of snow and 50 KPH winds. Can you believe Toronto was at 27 degrees today? It's just not fair. What did we get up to today? 7 degrees? Brrrrr....

Going to race city again tonight, the weather is looking good.
I believe tech starts at 7:30 or something, and racing begins at 8:30 again I would imagine. I'll probably show up at 7:45 or so.
Anywho, if you have time, you should show up and watch me do terrible 60 ft launches!

Niels

Yeah it was actually pretty nice today. Goes to show you those weather forecast thingies just aren't reliable! How did you do at the races?

Is it just your OEM clutch giving you a hard time with the launches? I think I remember you said there's a narrow window of clutch opportunity where you have to get it to bite or else it'll slip as you rev it up. Have you thought of getting a heavier duty clutch to handle that 15 psi of boost?

I only had one run today where it acted up, it wouldn't grab in 2nd gear AT ALL. I ran one of my fastest 60 foot times, and figured I might get a 14 second run in, but 2nd slipped all over the place. Sucks, because it launched HARD
Anyway, best run of the night was a [email protected]
I'm pretty happy, to say the least. I wanted 14's, but 15.06 is pretty good for a 4 door family car.

That's great for a 17 year old car with a slipping 2nd gear! I think the quarter mile time for a stock 93 MX-6 LS is 15.7 secs.

EDIT: Whoops... I shouldn't be posting so late at night.

by 0-60 you mean 1/4 mile, right? Cause 0-60 should be 7.4 seconds, according to http://www.ssmoparmuscle.com/speedcomp.htm

I may rebuild my engine next year with a tbird hybrid, mid 14s should be possible
