MX6.com Calgary AB, Canada

Hello,

I would like to say hello to everyone in Calgary AB, Canada.

I notice that there is not a lot of chatter on the forums from people in the candian west coast compared to the canadian east coast.

I joined this community because the MX-3 Community is a joke.

I drive a 1993 Mazda MX-3 that I am tuning so I will likely get flamed for this also.

We don't do that here. Hell, one of our members switched over to a Honda and now a Mustang and we're still chill with him. It's a very easygoing place to be (unless you start a thread like "I wanna make my MX-6 RWD" ) Welcome to the site fellow Canuckistanian!

We really need to form together some sort of Mazda club in Calgary. I think it would be a blast to have things like Show & Shine gatherings and stuff. We have some really nice places to cruise (like the crows nest pass). I have a lot of the parts I need to do the work on my car, the trick has just been finding the time. I just started a new job (at shaw) and I am starting a company (building a mmorpg) on the side.

Yeah that sounds good to me. I'm pretty crunched for time too, don't get to spend too much time on my car, school and work takes up majority of it. Good luck with the company! What is mmorpg?

its going to be well over a year before I truly have my MX-3 on the road as it is getting a lot of work done to it. As for my game, you can check out our youtube channel at youtube.com/user/WorldOfEdenOnline

Sorry that I never made the page a link as I do not want to be accused of spamming the forums. If you want to know more about the game, I am dragonrift on skype or can be emailed at dragonrift (at) gmail (dot) com

Anyways back to about my car project. The engine is JDM and is currently being rebuilt from the ground up in order to replace all worn out parts and when put back together will be all Naturally Aspirated

I was thinking of putting some Pacesetter Steel headers n it however I have not exactly decided yet. I am trying to maintain the aggressive growl of the engine through the exhaust rather then having the Coffee Can Rasp noise.

Silver '89 4ws.

Stock, stock, stock except boost controller and torque sensing diff. ran a 15.7 at race city couple of weeks ago. Ricky (prostho) says like a 14.7 at Mission (he's done both tracks).

Anyone else ever get to secret street/race city (there's likely only 4 or 5 weeks left until it's all gone forever).

Welcome to you, too (I've been here a while). Guess nobody else made it to Secret Street.

Its gone now, AFAIK. Too bad.
