ok im getting the price of a 12v head rocker gear cam and manifolds today of a tx5 n/a.
What i want to know if its the right price of course what else would i need to run it on my engine.. i have no plans of going efi i was thinking cutting and welding my existing manifold to fit the carby.i know i know sounds the wrong thing to do but thats all i can afford atm
So questions are as followed:
1. can i use the fe distrubitor or wont it be long enough ? or are they totally difernt because ones coming from the side of the engine the other the end ?
2. any chance my engine pipe would fit onto the f2 exhaust manifold ?
3. Are the manifolds even the same from the fe to the f2 ??
4. What size fuel pump would then be needed ?
And how much would be a decent price to pay for one ? i was thinking around the $200-$250 mark considering its been used..i can get the head shaved at school and do the valves myself..
