ok im getting the price of a 12v head rocker gear cam and manifolds today of a tx5 n/a.

What i want to know if its the right price of course what else would i need to run it on my engine.. i have no plans of going efi i was thinking cutting and welding my existing manifold to fit the carby.i know i know sounds the wrong thing to do but thats all i can afford atm :)

So questions are as followed:

1. can i use the fe distrubitor or wont it be long enough ? or are they totally difernt because ones coming from the side of the engine the other the end ?
2. any chance my engine pipe would fit onto the f2 exhaust manifold ?
3. Are the manifolds even the same from the fe to the f2 ??
4. What size fuel pump would then be needed ?

And how much would be a decent price to pay for one ? i was thinking around the $200-$250 mark considering its been used..i can get the head shaved at school and do the valves myself..

we gonna try to shove F2 into my mates GC sometime soon, but we going full on. EFI and all.

Well as i thought its not going to be EFI so the dizzy wouldnt matter but they must be differnt then ;)

I cant use my current fuel pump because dont the F2's have the pump in the tank ? mine used to go onto the block..

Just on the fuel pump but is in the fuel pump connected to the cam gear on the Fe 8 valve motor, I know the F2 head does have this blocked off so you shoudl be able to just remove the cover and feed in your pump.
GC don't have a intank pump from memory.

well, you can try to get a Turbo Tank in yours. from memory those ran internal electric. and it shoudln't be hard to find Fe(T) parts in WA as both early and late TX5s were commisioned to serve the police........ i can ask around for you, but shipping a tank is like WOW ;)

yeah well if it comes down too i cant run my existing tank or pump ill just get a bosch fuel pump :)

On prices what would a F2 Head Rocker gear cam and manifolds and distrubitor be going for ? used or course.

Also seeing as the F2 Distrubitor was used for efi is there any other little modules i shall need ?

While im here i might aswell ask wiring up for a 12v efi in the GC would it be straight forward or a pain in the a$$ ?

My F2T head is still for sale. Ported and polished, has run 280hp at wheels!! Give me $400 ONO and its yours mate!
