I found a 1986 626 2door 2.0l with the word magnum on the vavle cover.

I also found a 1986 626 4door with nothing on the vavle cover.

i got one with nothing on the valve cover, i dont knw the difference i think someone said one had 8:8:1 cr while the other had 8:6:1 cr

Ok, the magnum model is exactly the same mechanical to the normal model.

All that is differnt is that its the Capella so its got a hand full more KW but not that many..

As for the compression...8.3:1 is the standard compression as for the magnum i dont know..

Im going to get myself a magnum valve cover air cleaner and front grill someday when i find out the wreckers prices..

And some models came out with Mazda on the rocker cover while others didnt say a thing...i had a 84 with nothing on the cover and i got a 83 with Mazda written on the cover so i swaped them

Also did you see if it had the honeycomb grill and if it had Magnum written on the Air Cleaner you can also see if its a Original Magnum by looking at the Compliance plate the model will be something like TC instead of GC.
