hey all i just bought a 1989 mazda mx6 turbo with 4ws abs etc etc

i have a few problems with it as i only bought it for $500 with loads of extras

1 clock was working but now it isent working?

2 ciggy lighter isent working

3 dash lights arent working but headlights do work

4 4ws light stays on but i think that might be due to the power steering pump belt off

i have checked all fuses and the fuses are fine the only fuse that blew was the radio fuse and it doesent even have a radio installed

clock ciggy and dash lights all run off a fuse called room check that and check if its getting any power if not trace it

If that fuse keeps blowing there is almost certainly a short. A likely spot, if someone say, recently replaced the radio, is the cigarette lighter, as it is poorly grounded and the wires are often left loose after a radio change or upgrade.

the room fuse is fine

nope replaced that its the dash wireing

just need to confirm to see if the 626/tx5/mx6 dash wireing loom is the same for the radio etc etc
