So I have a 1990 mx-6 LX, the F2 motor only has 58k miles on it but I have realized this engine kinda sucks. I realize to get more power I have a few options, turbo the f2, import an FE-DOHC from Japan and turbo that, or swap in the V6 from the second gen.
I tried reading about turboing the F2 Na, and all discussions on here and conflicting information is melting my brain. I also have a feeling importing and building a DOHC is out of my price range and I'm not sure how hard converting or if there is any difference between the FE for a RHD car and a LHD, and I'm not sure swaping in the V6 is even possible without cutting up the car. I'm just thinking out loud here and seeing if anyone wanted to share thoughts.
