I was asking because of the fuel cut or if there is one inbetween shifts on the auto. I still haven't finished wiring everything yet so I still have time and I dont want to mess up my tranny

you can wire an extra switch in which only activates it when holding the botton down.

Than you can easily release when is near your shift points.

The biggest thing you have to worry about is your engine. Once you hit fuel cut off, and nitrous is still spraying, look out for a piston going right through the hood. HAHAHA.

Read up on the old posts. Run a search. You'll find good info.

Thats how my setup got complete.:D

Good luck, hope it works out for you.

well you will end up hurting the trans sooner or later but it's good that i see you do have a trans cooler on your setup. just a thought though, the more power you build, the more likely components in your car will fail.

I would suggest a fuel pump. I dont remember quite right but the walbros are rated 170 255 and etc right? If so, i would get the 170psi(psi right?) walbro fuel pump. Though people will argue, but i believe if you run a thicker power lead to the fuel pump, it will be as good and strong as the 255psi walbro pump- but u dont have to take my word for it, just food for thought.

my other idea was a window switch
but I am afraid it would still spray between shifts because it is still inbetween the rpm's it was set at.
my other idea is when there is fuel cutoff does your fuel pressure stop? if so could I put a fuel pressure safety switch for it to stop?

Not psi, lph actually. Liters per hour, its a measure of how much it can flow in some standard configuration.
Usually fuel pressure (psi) is between 35-60ish. I think its nominal 44ish in mx6s stock.
