Ok so, I can only shift up into 3rd gear right now, and have lost fourth completely, and I still beat a Vtec Civic 5sp. HAHAHAHA! It was great, I had to take him a ride in my car to prove what I just stated. The best part is his car has intake, header, exhaust, tires, suspension, and a short shifter. It is a dog. Ive seen herds of turtles stampeding through peanut butter faster than this thing. Ohhh it was great. This guy also tells everyone he is the fastest car in the illegals around here...HA...thats funny.

No man there some fast cars around here, My bro Dave has a Firehawk, And some other dude that says I know him has a Civic Si(sorta Fast), a few gt's and a viper or two. One Lamborghini, but its slow as poopy. A few S2k's, preludes, wrx's, GSX's, One Miata with a 347 in it, Yeah it's a Beast.

an Si is NOT sorta fast... sorry.

Can you be a little more specific about this Civic.

Was it an EX SOHC (D16) or an SI with a 160hp DOHC (B16)?

I know that a EX Civic w/i,h,e should run in the mid 16's, I'm not sure what the NA 4 cyl MX-6 will do.

It was an EX. A 93. I know it was a joke I was just giving an example of the cars around here. The si is turboed with Nitrous, its in the 14's, maybe 13's. Sorta fast. But not all the way yet, btw Im trying out an Eclipse that supposedly will run 12's. Its supposed to have 380 Hp. I don't know though. Doesn't feel like it. Ive got it for 2 days, I am already seeing symptoms of ctankwalk though.:(

I trapped at 16.4 when my car was in top shape.

And what kind of "symptoms" of CRANKwalk are you feeling? Since it's not your car, I would suggest you not abbuse it, especially because it's a DSM. What year is it by the way?

Yeah those lambo's are slow as hell, who would ever wanna drive one of those...?

Dude I dont think you can call a lambo slow (depending on the model i guess) I mean it may not run 10's but how many full street legal cars or cars without a crazy swap turbo and a bottle do? Either way I think I would rather drive a lambo that runs 12's or 13's than a civic that does high 11's...

I dont know if I would want to drive either one at 185 mph, that is crazy fast. It would be one thing to do it on a track but where, outside of the autobahn, is anyone going to hit 185 mph on the streets. Man the streets are so bad here that 90 mph is scary, you hit a bump and your almost airborn.

the lambo comment was a joke. Well sorta.. I did witness a 95 5.7 lt Mustang burn its ass once. Crankwalk, sorry about the typo, hard shifting, clutch pedal stuck 2x, vibration, poping out of shifts, I was told it was a 97 but Im very skeptical at this point. I took it back, and the dude told me it was NORMAL for a modded car. I was like BULLSH!T!! It aslo was on n20 but he took out the bottle...I believe it was been ragged the hell out. The dude told me to drive it like I would drive it, so I did. Holy Front wheel burnouts, which reminds me, I was also told it was AWD..which it proved to not be....:eek: :( :mad:

Good Kill, no fourth, I4, beating a v-tec 1.6 even being a SOHC is still a good kill... I think the only thing I love more than my 6, and my girl, is my DSM... It has cost me alot of money, aggravation, and embarrassment, but I think thats why I love it so much... My DSM, 97 GSX is a low 12 second car, with 120,000 on the body, but like all 2nd Gen. DO NOT BUY A DSM UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INTO!
