in my tbird running the same boost pressure, I was about 3/4-1 CL ahead of a manual in a 30-~ run 
i won all of the races lol. My best was a 20 - 100 roll and i had him by 3 cars.........
maybe my GT is a freak of a car. lol
the AUTO gti is faster than the manual.....lol
its the fastest shifting tranny with a dual clutch system. Shifts faster than a blink of the eye.
auto is 6.9 to 60 stock and manual is 7.0 according to this one site.
im happy though that my 800 dollar mx6 beat his 20 grand vw
BUT you say the gti is 200 hp and 207 tq....is that crank or to the wheels? the mx6 kills it in tq and at 15 psi is somewhat close to 200 hp at the crank.

talking about the race, and everywhere I've looked, it just lists the power numbers as 200hp/207tq, take those as you may.
Also, the auto is not really an auto, it's a DSG from what I understand, you still have to flip the paddles...he was doin it wrong

I was the passenger in the GTI for these races. I don't know why you guys are so damn skeptical, the power numbers aren't that far off at all.tell you what, I'll race you in a GTI and we'll see what the outcome is
They were close races, but the mx6 was pulling on the GTI every time. One of the races the driver of the GTI was shifting up manually, at redline, through 2-3-4, and the mx6 was steadily creeping ahead. I ended up being the same outcome every time regardless of the DSG mode that was selected.
Regardless, the MX6 feels like a faster car now that I've ridden in both. I was impressed with the GTI, but it could definitely benefit from an intake and a chip. Being stock it didn't feel *that* fast.
The Mx6 has GOOD TQ To back it up thats why the 6 won
