I got 130,000 and still sweet as a nut, 1 problem i have had in nearly 3 years, lost power to fuel pump, rewired and going great now, never failed a MOT, what a car :D .

well i guess the one way to stop the milage building up on a much loved car, is to have it as a non runner (grrr). ah well hopefully back on the road in a day or two, and def there for next weekend.

i suppose the one dissapointment is that the cash that goes into fixing stuff is the same cash u would have spent on a mod or two, that is stew, unless u want to lend me ya mum, or at least her purse??(grin)

mines got a 114k on it, and is runnig better than whe I bought it (touching lots of wood) the only real problems ive had are the dizzy going and a new throttle body. Still - all is well at the moment

Mines just hit 73,000..... and still runs sweet as a nut. :)

Yeah, ok... t'is only 73k, but most cars are in the scrappy with that sort of age and milage. })

Now i take it your are reffering to me and Ken, why would you want a fireproof suit on m8, since we are thinking of setting up a meet in France next year and you get dropped off the ferry half way over, waterfroof would have been better }) }) .

My G reg Mazda 626 had 120.000 miles on it and was running like a dream. The only thing I had to change was the to front CV boots and the only once the back box (it lasted for over 10 years, previous owners my parents)

My K reg mazda 626 at 115.000 failed on the MOT and CV boot. Thats when I thought I want a new car and one that I always wanted. A Xedos 6! N reg and only 63.000 bought it from MAZDA and they did the main big service so cambelt was changed too. Its running like a dream.

Got some caliper paint and ordered an induction kit too. (Thanks goes to all you guys that helped me out and Rich.)

Cool George!.. youre gona have to park next to me at work.. the two mazdas will look good together... what colour are you doing the calipers and what induction kit did you go forin the end? (a pipercross I would think eh?)

The calipers are going be silver since didnt think any other colour would match nicely with the midnight blue bodypaint.

How did you guess about the induction kit? :D
After looking around and found out that the probe has a mazda engine and also it fits your MX6 I thought I go for that since its the best chance that will fit on my xedos.

I looked for K&N but they dont do any for the MX6 neither for the ford probe. Green on the other hand do only replacement filters.

Now I just need to find out what to do with that small pipe that goes from the engine in to the air box.
I might do a hole in the main intake pipe and stick it in there. Need to do some research on that or have a look at yours on Monday and work.
