Hey everyone,
Here is the deal. Very shortly I will have $250-$300cdn to spend on anything for my six. My car is completely stock as of right now, so I am open to ALL suggestions. So post all of your ideas for me, including links to where I can get the stuff!
This will be just the beginning, cuz i just purchased my car. There will be many more mods to come in the future :D

Thanks!

You didn't mention whether or not you've gotten your car in a good state of tune or not so you might want to start there:

$40 good spark plug wires
$15 Bosch -2 spark plugs
$15 new dist cap & rotor
$8 air filter

Then with the rest of the $$$ get a CD installed. Your car has enough power out of the box as long as it's running well so spend the $$$ on something that won't get you tickets.

You can always get an empty coffee can and stick it on the end of your tailpipe if you want people to think you've got mods. That way you won't actually be generating more noise thus you'll enjoy your CD more.

Universal muffler installed-$100
gut cat-free
cold air intake-$80

Then you have $120 for whatever else you feel like.

Why does everyone want him to get a fart cannon? I think they are as annoying as hell. To see someone pretending they have a fast car. Save up and get full exhaust, not just the stupid muffler.

Do a tune up if you haven't.

MAKE YOUR OWN CAI ($5-$50)

Change anything that is making noises it shouldn't be making.

Go get some Redline fluids for your engine and tranny (MT90 on the MTX.) Pour some Redline Water Wetter in your radiator and your set. That should blow your $300 easily. DOn't do anything else. I spend about as much money on maintenance as I do on modifications. Matter of fact I usually match them dollar for dollar. Kinda be stupid to have a modified car that won't start :D

Please dont waste your money on a Universal Muffler. Start with a CAI, and then save a little more for a CAT-BACK Exhaust, not a crummy muffler that wont give you any performance gain whatsoever.
I would also have to agree with leenstl on the good state of tune.
It always helps.

Well I didn't mean for him to just get a muffler welded on. I meant to get a mandrel bent catback made using a universal muffler. I'd go with 2.5" myself.
