Hi Gang,

Trying to find out whether anyone else has the same problem as me, or perhaps a less intrusive fix for it.

I've noticed that after washing the car, or after a moderate rainfall, when I take off I can hear water sloshing around inside the doors (at least it sounds that way to me). Has anyone else noticed this?

Of course I'm not too chuffed with the idea of rust inducing electronic frying h2o dribbling thru my bodywork, so I'm considering drilling some holes in the underside of the door and filling with grommits..

Anyone else noticed this, or have a better fix?

Cheers,

Jasonius

I know in the bottom of my doors there are about 4 rectangular drain holes already, are you sure yours aren't blocked or something?
As above... every car I've owned has had drain holes in the doors... boot etc. I would say that they are blocked, as over time they fill up with ****.

Yeah drain holes are blocked also watch the other ones especially near the bottom of the windscreen as it's these ones that will help rust UNSEEN rust coming into the car.

I suggest a clean out and some FISH OIL ($4 at repco the motortach stuff smells but cheap ) a spray there and you will find that they never clog up again. it's sticky but was always fall outs.

You will have them in your boot too. If you have a sun roof possibley both end fornt and rear going down the pillars these don't usually get blocked but the ones at frotn should be keep and eye on.
