Well I'm sure many of you have heard of the brand 3A racing. I dont really like them much, but I was in autozone yesterday and I saw one of there mufflers and it has Carbon Fiber in it. So now I want it, and its only 130 bucks. I figured I can get it put on with my new exhaust when it comes around. My muffler sounds like crap so I want a new one, with Carbon Fiber lol How do these sound? Are they gonna rust in a month? Any good? LMK

all i know about 3A is that there is a yellow Supra that rolls around State College that is all decked out in 3A stuff, american racing rims, body kit, nos bottles behind the 3A racing seats, and it sounds like hell, it is a nonturbo because it has no fmic plus he was at a light downtown and tryed to race a bmw and i heard him shifting through gears - no bov and he got wasted by the bmw, not that beamers are bad and it was a 5 series but he thinks his car is the **** and i'm 100% sure i could smoke his ass in the silver 6. His car is so disappointing for a supra. And all the 3A stuff on his car make it look cheesy, not to mention the American Racing rims. Personally i think all their stuff is cheesy, but then again nobody would be able to tell the exhaust is from 3A so its your choice. However, the supra's exhaust was also 3A and it sounded like ass, but that could have been influenced by his cat or engine a bit, plus it wasnt a cf exhaust so things might be different

I do, I have that n1 style megan racing one. It sounds really nice, quiet, but still has a growl. No rasp at all, but maybe that's because I didn't remove the resonator.

exhaust

Forget spending a bunch of money. I removed the resonator and replace muffler with a cherry bomb glasspack (cheapest I could find when I got the car and I and everyone around feel in love with the sound) and the total price was around 50 installed and everything. I love the sound. It doesnt have a deep bumble bee sound. Its open and loud. I'm not going to change the exhaust for a long time. It may be very cheap but who cares it looks good and sounds awesome and it helps the top end with the exhaust being open.

I used cherry bomb for my first car. sounded great until it rotted out and started to leak. Magnaflow ressys are just alittle more and it has a life time garuntee (wish i would learn how to spell that.)

i have a 3a racing muffler..its not carbon fiber tho..its really deep...it only cost me 50 bucks from pep boys..i wasent sure how good it would sound but im very impressed..i also have 2.25' piping runnin from the cat back..i dont no if that makes any diff or not..hope i could help
