funny enough Mike, There are apparently more auto's.. I was looking at two, before I bought mine.. one with connolly leather.. was very tempted, but held out for the manual.. I also wanted A/C, but gave up after 2 and a half years of looking.

Wolf, Nice looking motor there... Mark will be impressed.. it's the same colour as his.

Funny looking OZ alloys.... })

I notice yours is a later model than mine or Mike's.. hence you get an airbag, at the expence of cruise control :(

Also.. you must be a member of my other club..... seen as you have nicked the logo I did :E

Ken iam p*****g myself laughing :) yep it sure will ken :):D :D

Yep i new the 626 had an auto version as i was offered a 626 auto gearbox with 61,000 miles on clock for £282 but went for the j-spec mx6 box in the end,

I was told the 626 box would fit into the 6 ok as long as it was the 2.5version? as the other gearbox in other 626 apparently has a side sump too?instead of just the bottom sump!

Wolf if your gearbox goes mate like mine did last week with 90,000 on the clock(someone musta ragged it:eek: )
Then the place to go is www.1st choice! i got a low milage replacement 31,000miles £352! Fitting costing £200-£250.

Just to let you no the sorta price just incase she blows :(

Gareth your not wrong :D i think mayb it was my fault, mayb i pushed it abit hard, but when buying a second hand car you never no how its been driven b4 you buy it ie mine had full mazda service history but dont mean it was driven well!

Just my luck that when i have an upper hand in a debate(i think i did) :) the thing your debating goes pear shaped :)
i still firmly belive that i was rite thou :) but as i have said before your car has to be running in the first place for it to hold value :) Doh doh doh!! Ken grrrrr thanks for bringing that one back up
:D ;)

Nice car, same colour as my telstar - just for intrest sake in SA Samcor (Mazda/Ford) did not bring out the 626GT but they did bring out a hatchback known as a Ford Telstar TX5

But look after it and have a nice ride.
