hey guys, i just found a 89 gt for sell and the price is pretty interesting and my car have a lil floor problem, you know like a big hole >.< and i want to know if there is any problem to swap motor from a 90 to a 89 ?

and is ther anyway to take the speedometer ( sp ? ) from the 91 and pu in the 89 ??

edit : LOL i dont even a 91 , its a 90

I am not sure if the wiring harnesses will be inter-changeable.

I believe you can just interchange the motors, but you may have to change a few sensors over from the 89's engine if they are different. I believe the engines themselves are pretty much identical from 88-92.
