i have a 1989 mx6 gt 4ws iam wondering what would happen if i used a 1991 mx6 ecu on my 1989 would it be better or the same or worse or not work at all please explain thank you

Never trid personally, but from what I read on here it won't work. Different connectors I believe would be the main problem, but then the maps are in the wrong place and pretty much the whole ecu is different as far as where everything is placed.
