My 1993 Mazda MX-6 LS (V6) has decided not to start. The starter turns the engine over without problem, but nothing's catching.

After cranking the starter mercilessly for far too long, I did smell fuel... does this rule out a fuel line blockage?

The "igniter module" was replaced last August (after the car died in the desert between LA and Vegas!)

The car has about 63K miles on it... soon due for a timing belt replacement. Could this be the culprit? I hope not.

I drove (after starting it, obviously) the car three times yesterday without incident. No troubles whatsoever... no rough running, no trouble starting, no odd noises, no problems at all.

Any quick things I can check before having to call for a tow?

The spark plug wires all seem to be seated well, but I don't know what else to even look at.

Thanks for any advice.
