I just did the timing belt on my gf's 96 mx6 mystere 2.5L with 90,000kms, premature I know, the belt looked mint when I took it off.

anyways I was very carefull of all the connectors and I didn't have any bolts left over ;) but now the engine light is on under the tach... anyone else have this before?

I'm prolly gonna take the negative battery terminal off for 1/2hour and see if it goes away, the motor runs great and is nice and quiet so far.

is the 96 car OBD2 compliant? i'm guessing not, do you need a special code reader to check it?

Thanks, Jon
