!989 Mx6 Code reader?

I am assuming there is a code reader for my 89 turbo, anyone know where to get one? Apparently the ODB and ODB 2 readers do not work on it:tdown:, and I need to find out what type of reader I need, so i can hunt one down... or a scanner, but I am not sure the pre-90 cars work with it.

i have an original code reader for sale..
make a descent offer.
can make u a pic tonite.. thjing isnt ever used by me so i cant tell u how it works.
