It seems that if on our cars your a/c works on fan speed one, but not 2,3 or 4 that there is a bad resitor/relay some where. Am I correct on this? If so is it a relay or a resitor that is bad, and can anyone whose fixed this problem,or anyone who knows, tell me where this relay is located in the car. I do have a repair manual for this car but it doesn't tell me where the relay is,just that it exists in line somewhere. Any help in this matter would be greatly apprieciated. I would like to get my a/c working again but don't know where the relay/resistor is,and can't afford the bill for anyone else to fix it at the tune of $50-$65 an hour. I am mechanicly inclined, just need to know where the part is. Thanks in advance to any and all who reply.

The resistor is under the passenger side of the dash. It is next to the blower motor. Remove the under dash cover and all the way to the right. It should be right there. It should have several wires, 4-6, plugged into it.
