Hello i was looking into upgrading from my tbird hybrid (1990 MX6 F2T) to a small t3 oil cooled. I was just wondering what exactly do you do with the water lines, cap them off? I see how it possible to cap off the feed/in water line but would about the return? Unless anyone knows of a t3 that is similar to the stock ihi so i can retain the water cooled aspect?

a small rubber line looped around, unless you find a water cooled center section.

I've got one if you need one.
just connect them to the nipples on the other end. This will avoid messing up the coolantflow.

Treat it as if you are finnishing the coolant path without the turbo.
on mine we welded up a plug for the coolant out, and blocked off the coolant in
I just looped it back around on mine.
If you really wanted to get fancy, you could just pick up a non turbo coolant hard pipe that goes from the pump to the block
thankyou all for the input i was stumped on it.
jus ran loop hose, neva know cuz some t3 like the garrett turbo from the volvo use coolant lines, might get fancy n get a ball bearin
one more question whats the a/r on the stock ihi vj11. If anyone knows it would by much helpful.

Wutz wrong with ballbearing turbos, some are expensive n i wont lie about that but their good and perform better than journal, everybody jus got their own opinion on it and besides everybody loves a fast spool up

Agreed on the fast spool up  but on a small T3 the lag will be barely different from stock, prolly approx. 2-300 rpm away from where say tbird or stocker get full boost(especially if you go .48 exhaust side) so in that respect ball bearing won't really be necessary but if you decide to go big T3 then maybe and if you go t3/t4 size then defintiely would be worth the money(just my 2 cents) :)

so does anyone know? its a silly question
i think i read on the board somewhere a long time ago that the hot side is a .42 a/r
