driving along, as i hit about 80k's the abs light comes on, and stays on tiill i turn the car off, when i turn the car back on its off until i hit 80 again. any ideas ??????

well it could be that sensor in wheels but also could be sign of your alternator going. You see at 80k's and load ETC you might be getting some bad voltage.
but more lilkely a sensor faulty or maybe just need a good clean.

I had a similar problem in that if I took a corner hard the ABS would light up...

So, I pulled the tyres off and gave the general area a good clean , reset the computer and off I went... all fixed. Don't know if it was either of those things or just a fluke but I haven't had the problem in a few months now.

I found that I had a lot of oil on the front right drive shaft area from a leak the previous owner must of had, so maybe you have the same? Probably worth a clean under there anyway.

how do you reset the computer ????

you reset the ECU sometimes they devolpe errors and wont go away till you reset the ECU (Engine Control Unit) Search "How to reset 2nd gen ECU" or something :)
