This is a dumb question, but I bought an accent lighting, and I want to put it under the glove compartment.

The only problem is, is that I don't know how to wire it so that when I turn on the face gauge, it turns on too.

So basically turn the face gauge on, the accent lights turn to, and so does the headlights.

there is an ORANGE wire inside the dash. cut it and splice the power to that. make sure its just the ORANGE one cuz thats the one that reacts to your dimmer/headlights. make sure u make a good splice too, not just twist the wires together. thats what i did for mine before. and my fogs. this was on my white MX6. hope this helps

Dude I was about to screw in the accent lights, and I don't have enough roon to drill it in. So I have to take the bottom apart, and drill it in, so it would look just fine.})

I think running the relay is the best because then you can have a switch :D i love switches:D i found the best way to mount the lights under the dash on both the driver side and passenger side was to get some thick metal wire and basically hang it under there...i found that there are a lot of metal bars under the dash so it made it easy and you can make it tight in there so you can't see the light hanging.
