i heard taking off the hydro-flapper-thingy behind the wheels would increase the aerodynamics of a car in general. is this true?

I doubt it would help any. They are directly behind the wheels...so any air displaced by the wheels, are also displaced by the mudflaps. And how would you remove them? It'd leave a pretty ugly space where they were.

If you're going for a 200mph run, yes, remove them. If not, leave them on.

I always wanted to color key mine. I like the way the color keyed ones look on early-90s camrys and stuff. Makes them look more a part of the car. I just liek body colored trim in general, though. The black plastic on the 6s just looks cheap to me.
