I don't think you'll find one for that price. Maybe the Ractive one, but I don't really know much about the quality. PRM and Hotsthots are both VERY nice, but are a bit more pricy.
http://www.prmracing.com/products.html for PRMs. I am fairly sure those prices are in CDN which makes it a bit cheaper. Hotshot's similar in price.

just make your own custom one, thats what i did , all parts you need are at home depot, i spent 10dollars on mine and wow i got a huge difference and alot better throttel response, oh and if you guys wonder what i used, hahaha pvc pipe , with the engine paint that repels high engine heat, spray the pipe outside and the inside, pipe no lie guys is always cool and engine revs faster and i feel power from 3500rpm till fuel cut but i shift earlier just my opinion and idea i did}) also i haven't had any problem with the pvc pipe one bit

Actually, Urbanstyle55, my brother did the exact same thing to his 2.0 i4 MX6. He painted it flat black on the outside but he didnt use it on the inside...hell of an idea though. I would do the same to mine but theres not really space in the 2.5 ATX :damnmad: BUT thank goodness HS just made one! Whoo! I mean I love the way the filter itelf looks in there and stuff, but its not nearly as funtional as a true CAI.

well actually lordy i do got a filter on it, and as for zoom zoom tell your brother to use the engine heat resistant paint and spray it inside and out, keeps the pipe way cooler, plus i made mine since there is no intake for a v6 [email protected]

Yeah, I'll have to tell him to do that...he's on this site someplace but im not sure what his name is. OH! but is your filter in the engine or under the engine bay? he had to put his in the engine and put a rubber pipe connector on the end and run the pipe to under the bay without a filter on the end...its like an itermittent filter. problem is, that makes it real easy to suck up water in there.

Ingesting water is such a crock of ****....
Frankly I'm sick of hearing about it. I got a PRM so I could pull the down pipe quickly in inclimate weather. And I did.... at first. But soon I found myself driving with it on year round. My Camaros filter sits far lower then my Probe's intake and the previous owner drove it through a few floods. Never pulled water. I know it's always nice to play safe and try to keep the intake away from water. But it's not likely to happen unless you're driving through ponds. (Fun Fact #178: Number of rivers my Camaro was driven through.....2 ) As a matter of fact, I can't name anyone on this board, or anywhere else for that matter, that's ever taken in water. Yes, it's possible. But I can promise I won't lose sleep over my intake hanging low.

I'm not saying you meant it like that at all. I just know everyone spews this whole ingesting water thing. But can anyone name someone who actually hydrolocked an engine due to CAI? Seems like it may be a bit more Urban legend then something to worry about.

Hydrolock? No, but my brother did have a pipe full of water that most likely would've locked the engine if he souldve tried to drive out of that puddle instead of having me push the car. When we got out of the puddle and took off the pipe, water was all but gushing out. Just wanted to put that out there cuz he wanted to know if there was anything to be worried about and if there was any problems that anyone has had with such a setup.
