Hey guys, I got a new muffler and it sounds awesome, but at highway speeds it can get a little over bearing...the constant tone can get a little irratating. So, my question was if any of you guys know how I can reduce the sound so it's not so loud inside the car it would help lots! Would I be able to wrap the muffler with something? or??? any ideas? thanks guys.

muffler muffling

Well to reduce the noise of my new muffler I isolated the trunk from the cabin. That invloved removing the rear shelf panel and insulating and plugging all the holes that go into the trunk. It is now much quieter and there is still air flow through the car around the seats for ventalation.

I thought the resonator ruduces the airflow which decreses power. The point of having a aftermarket exhaust is to have a free flowing one with no resonator. Cant really get rid of the sound.
