I recently purchased my 1996 Mazda Eunos 30X only to have it lose oil pressure and develop a major rod knock literally on the drive home. I picked up a KL from the only guy in my land mass who plays with MX6s, but sadly quite a lot of water had got into the engine and gummed up the valves real bad, resulting in some pretty poor compression results. Also, one of the cylinders compression tested at over 300 PSI even after turning the engine over plenty with the plugs out and some oil in the cylinders - so that's super confusing. I'm thinking I could possibly swap the heads over from my K8 if the bores are okay. Can anybody confirm that the heads are the same and I'm fine to go ahead with the swap?
