Now that the temps have fallen through the floor up here in Ohio, the auto seatbelts motor back slower than normal. Is there a fix to this (i.e. oiling the tracks the belts move on)?
Personally I don't have the auto belt I have the good ol' fashion do it yourself. But as far as "oiling the tracks" I would strongly recomend not to if you oil them then this could casue futher problems down the road as dirt will collect putting more stain on the belt motor. Cleaning them would be a good idea an couldn't hurt anything. Just make sure that you don't "oil" them or if you us grease don't us any that's to heavy. Again this is just my opinion I could be totally wrong (for all those critics out there) but I wouldn'y oil them
Mine go slow as well, and my drivers side window really hates teh cold. I have to pull up on it with my hand sometimes to get it to roll back up. And as far as I know, there isn't much we can do about it.
