About $80-$90 US and about $165 to install(parts and labor), which is worth it for me. I've heard some people say its a breeze and other say what a pain it was to get the old shaft out, I payed $165 for mine.

I've had both axle's done and each it time it cost me about 210-220 to do. For me the part cost around 160. And I did get estimates to get it done at 4 different garages so I guess it just a little mroe expensive for parts in NJ.

Both outer CV joints went on my 94 LS. I managed to change the passenger side shaft my self: cost about $80 from http://www.carparts.com.

The only problem I had was that the LCA to anti-rollbar link has a weird design: a small shaft with a nut on one end and a ball joint on the other. The ball joint wasn't as stiff as it needed to be, so trying to undo the nut was difficult (the shaft tended to rotate).

I couldn't get the hub nut off on the other side & had to take it to a garage: parts $160, labour $120 (expensive, but it's a very good garage).
