From a roll to highway speeds, my car is has a very bad vibration. It is coming from the front right wheel. My first thought that it was a wheel bearing, because according to my bro that would explain why it almost goes away when turning left. I'm just wondering what you guys would think. I'm putting it away in a few weeks, but, I got a lot of driving to do before then.

I have a vibration and no matter how good they balance it, it will never go away. It was later determined that the rim was slightly warped from a stupid mistake I made last winter involving a snow covered parking lot at Future Shop @ Mavis/Brittania and a divider...

anyways, you might wanna check that out!

Check the condition of your front tires. It could be possible that there is a bulge in one of the tires. As well, ball joints on their way out have been known to cause "wobbling."

My beater acclaim is experiencing the same thing right now, due to a ball joint.

vibration

I had the EXACT same problems. Vibration coming from the Right front...

The garage balance it and changed the bearing too. This is really better now. Not even sure it's Perfect, because I have noticed some vibrating at 150km/h, maybe that was the road too.. but at 100-120km/h no more vibrating..

Think you should do that at first..

Since I only have the car for 1 month, garage didn't charge me anything but anyway I don't think it'll be expensive.

I am going thru the same problems, thogh mine is little bit different, it becomes very noticable when I accelerate to switch from 1-2, 2-3 and then ~ 110+
I had two shops looking at my car, here is a list of things they changed but the problem still there.

LR side tie rod end
R side wheel bearing
L side control arm lower bushing
R side control arm
RL axle shaft
hub and bearing assembly

If someone can suggest good Mx-6 mechanic in GTA area I will really appreciate that.

Same problem here as well. Pain in the ass trying to find out what it is. But at 255,000km, what do i expect? lol

I have replaced or done...

1) broken spring (gee that might be the problem)

2) driver's side control arm

3) allignment & balancing.

Now we have narrowed it down to a tie rod end. I'll let ya know how everything works out.

I hate trying to make this car drive smooth. I want an audi!

a lot of the problems are associated with bent rims.. which is a lot of the times neglected.
