Bought my dad a boost gauge for christmas, I helped him with the fiberglass and he spent a couple days sanding, bondo'ing and painting. The thing turned out impressively well. I stole the idea from volvospeed, the plan was to experiment with this one then build one similar for my car. Boost pod is kinda my last concern now .

no, its just an auto meter mechanical gauge. Haven't run the lines yet, but I don't forsee any big issues. The vacuum line is tiny, and able to bend pretty well.

Thats why I asked.. the plastic tubeing they come with is cheap. If bent to much it kinks and cracks. In the cold it becomes brittle. I dont see it useable through the door. I was using it on both boost and oil psi. Ended up replacing it twice. End result was rubber vac line for boost, SS braided line for oil.

Id go to autozone and pick up some rubber vac hose.

btw, nice work on the pod
