does any 1 know how or best way to connect a mechanical boost controler
up to a 1gen...its has a t fitting to connect 3 hoses

t piece goes between wastegate actuator and turbo snout nipple.

the other line goes to metering deveice (i got a incabin turbosmart item)

mines mounted in the coin tray part under the cd player..

then the other line from the controller goes to atmos.

simple.

i see, so T piece goes in the middle of those two hoses atached to the stock boost solenoid and the 3rd one goes to the boost controller and the other side of the boost controller goes to atmosphere...

that sounds simple...I reckon ima get myself a boost controller to play around with and see what happenes...loool....

ok thats a bleed valve,

one side goes to waste gate actuator other side to turbo snout nipple. the third line to atmosphere

disconnect the stock boost solenoid completly. i even took mine out.

for stock boost again you can hook a single vac hose from waste gate actuator to turbosnout again.

sorry about confusing you people,

i assumed he had a controller like this.



thats the controller i got and am going to install once car is going.

but with the controller tomee has just install as i said.

one side to waste gate actuator one side to turbo snout. other side to atmos (unsure about this havnet seen a controller like that before, does it have instructions lol)

thanks mate I got it now...yeah there are different types and there is the basic TS which only has two pipes....lool...BTW...check your PM...

yeah it did come with instructions but misplace or lost it during my move.

Is there a reason why the 3rd hose goes to atmosphere or can it be connected
to the recircling like the original boost soliniod, it just seems wierd have a hose just dangling lose to atmosphere
