yesterday i got my borla put on finally. 277.49 from jcwhitney and it got here in exactly one week.

just to clarify some things:
1 7/8" ID
straight through dual muffler
on a I4 '93 needed an extension put in

my first impresion was that its not loud enough. it sounds nice and smooth and deep, but not enough noise below 3k rpms. which is nice for cruising becuase there is no droning; when you're not WOT it sounds slightly louder/deeper than stock. when you get on it at 3k and especially 4k and above it has a very nice aggressive roar. still smooth sounding.

now i'm just waiting for it to break in so it can get a litttle louder. anyone with a borla know how much louder it will get?

Just to tell ya but you probaly know this. the exhaust is made for the Probe and the Probe exhaust is a littler shorter than the mx6. thus you needed the extension on the exhaust. FYI

what size pipe is on a stock I4??

I haven't gotten out the tape yet but the stock piping looks the same size, but with smaller bends due to non-mandrel bends.

My stock exhaust is in great shape if anyone needs it.
