this is for anyone who has measured and adjusted their brake pedal height after a brake job. I just did a little work this past weekend- new brake booster and 2g master cylinder (thanks Gavin!). I did it all the right way, bench bled the master, measured and adjusted the piston to push rod clearance, then installed and bled all 4 corners....the pedal feels nice, no air in the system. The pedal remained the same height it's always been, but it's low by roughly 1.5" (should be 8.74 +/- .20 inches). I know the adjustment procedure, but it won't get me anywhere near the right height...physically impossible with the length of the booster rod. Does anyone have a low pedal?
