OK- i've heard that it is common on Probes & MX6s that buring oil sometimes is the valve cover gaset. My car has close to 140,000 miles on it. Its a 93' V6 Mtx. It keeps buring more and more oil. The oil doesn't leak anywhere so i know its not that. Some one told me you could tell because it would look different on your spark plugs when you took them out? I'm wanting to change the valve cover gasets my self but i want to be sure thats what it is. I need help. and suggestions???????

Pull the spark plug wires out, if you see oil setting in the hole around the plug... it your valve cover gaskets. If not, I dunno?

It would be your head gasket if you were buring oil and smoke was coming out of your exhaust. If the smoke is coming from your engine than its prolly the gaskets.
