Burnouts

Yeah i know they are stupid but who can resist. I have a few questions.

I went for a drive before and started to spin while taking off, shifted to 2nd but when i went to 3rd the wheels stopped spinning. How can i sucessfully pull off a 3rd gear burnout?

Now with doing burnouts, what am i shortening the life of / putting in danger, iv heard i can bugger my CV joint, dunno what it is though, what else? clutch? gearbox? Cheers

its the easiest way to kill our tranny. which is a weak point anyway.. not a good idea. hard 1st, to 2nd gear shifts going around corners are just as bad.

to get 3rd, just keep doing it. spinning tire's has alot more to do with bad suspension, and bad tire's, then any real horsepower.
you're definately shortening the life of the tyres. lol
yeah i always do it straight, never turn. What about reversing then switching to first or second and dropping the clutch over high revs, is that even worse?
haha righto, i dont do many burnouts anyway, ill keep it to 2nd gear. thanks guys.
