Not too bad man. I'm not a big fan of the tinted tails but i think if you were to tint all your your windows and your brake light you'd have a nice lil black and tan them going on and It'd actually be kinda sweet along with the much needed drop ;) Are you trying to swap out all of your interior for black?? I noticed the back half is black and the front of the car is all TAN. Very clean interior tho, props!

Have fun swapping the headliner over if you do that too. If you find some way to do the sunroof liner and fabric..Pics of how, and let me know.

But it's looking good there. I actually like the tinted tails, but I think if possible, for the 3rd brake light to be tinted too, that would look sweet. But I do like them, and I do like the color a lot too.

Any more plans for her beyond the list? Which is quite a bit, haha

Considering E-Specs or J-Specs with the HID kit?

Update...

I lost interest in the VHT night shade tinted tail lights I did a while ago. So I wet sanded it off, then re-sprayed the tail lights all red. Easiest thing I have ever done in my entire life. I don't know why so many people told me not to do it because I needed to use paint thinner or it was just a royal pain... I think people are just royally dumb or big time wusses... I didn't use paint thinner.. I sat on a rim and wet sanded for 10 minutes, both lenses.. done. It's amazing what people mock up to be such a big deal and it's super easy.

I also took apart the stock headlights and cleaned the reflector, housing and sanded, polished the lenses. They look awesome.

Oh and installed a CAI w/ a Ractive Superflow filter.

All is peachy. Some recent shots..

Tails. Still need to polish them up more.

That's about it for now. Just prepping for winter. UGH.

You'll want to clearcoat those tails, otherwise they'll get pretty nasty in a few months.

That paint never really gets hard enough.

Been a long time since I have actually posted anything... so here is a little update for everyone...

Car was off the road for about 6-7 months as I got a 1995 Civic Hatch to become the new daily while I build the 6. Got bored of the Civic, lost my job so I parted the Civic (Made about $650 off of it, bought it for $200) and took my time getting the 6 back together and in that time I did..

- New drivers door seal
- Used low mileage brake res. and booster
- New NGK spark plugs
- New NGK wires
- Exedy OE Spec slave cylinder
- New exhaust piping from y-pipe back to the same magnaflow muffler
- Stainless single tip
- Rebuilt rear calipers
- Painted calipers satin black
- Custom intake
- Battery terminals
- Swapped out tan interior for black
- Custom black head liner
- Front cloth gray/black buckets
- Rear black leather seats
- Black leather door panels w/ black leather inserts
- Mazdaspeed3 Shift Boot
- Misc. black interior panels
- Black sailboat panels
- PBR blank rotors all around
- PBR pads all around
- 93 LS 15" Wheels (painted them black) w/ Kingstar all seasons (came with them)
- Walker 02 sensors (4)

Saved the best for last.. I actually just did this a few weeks ago.. and the ride is amazing.

Finally lowered on Yonaka Adjustable Coilovers w/ oem rear upper mounts and ford escort ft front mounts.

I had the mud flaps on only for a few days, the scraping was annoying as hell. It looks much cleaner without them I think though.

That's it for now! :)

Yea man, i picked up kc-'s old 6.

he had put in a new ze but the guy who did it for him put the valve covers and oil pan on hand tight, it lost oil and spun #6 bearing.

i have a lot planned for it. right now its down to the shell. im also in the process of doing an almost stock engine rebuild (besides working on dirtbikes this is the first time working on engine internals, so i hope it goes well).

Update:

The Yonaka's are still amazing and the ride is fantastic. Any one that goes for a ride or takes the car for a drive has nothing but great things to say about the ride quality. I recommend these coilovers to anyone.

Finally started having my first parts wear outs since lowering it, replaced the pass. side LCA a few weeks ago, the ball joint was mangled. Rear end link on pass. side snapped in half (hahaha) I can't complain too much, little & easy fixes. I love spare parts. :)

I added a front lip to the car and it fits SO good. A little bit of trimming at the edges but all in all it went on like it was made for the 6. It is a 2006 Subaru STI Polyurethane front lip I picked up from Next Mod for $160 (Taxes included). Always getting compliments.
