If a dealer refuses to fix this problem, you should contact the better business bureau because this is a real defect on some cars. Your car must be in the range, which I've forgotten, but I think it's 93-94 probe gt's and mx6 ls's. There is a site somewhere that details the problem but I can't remember it. Maybe someone else can help.
