Hey I was just wondering how you got the 15g on your 6? Did you get a custom manifold made, do a log header kit, or have an adapter plate fabbed?

Lemme know!

RealRuffRyder originally did the fab work, and I got it from him.

Its on the stock manifold for now, Using an adaptor plate that is bolted onto the manifold. The turbo sits a little funny, but it will work until I get a log manifold made.

Do you have any extra injectors or anything fuel related? I might go this route too, as I may be able to get a 15G cheap. Can you get a pic of it for me.

Thanks

I'm running low boost (12psi) until I get an upgraded fuel pump and an additional injector(s).

The 15g is off some of the newer (93+) volvo's I believe, its also a common upgrade for 3kgt guys.

Rick seems to think ~450cfm. I PM'ed him before I got it. I havent found a compressor flow map online however.
From http://techdata.mi3si.org/turbocharger.htm ...

The 15G is not a factory produced Mitsubishi turbocharger model. A true 15G starts life as a 13G. The center of the compressor housing is bored to fit the very aggressively trimmed and larger 15G compressor wheel. The 15G can flow alot more than a stock turbocharger. A non-ported 15G reportedly flows 404 CFM @ 15 PSI. The 15G is considered a serious modification to the VR4 engine. Attention to the fuel delivery system is a necessity.

Thats interesting, I have a tag on mine that says "Volvo 15G" that is very factory.

Maybe there is a difference between this 15g hyrbid you are describing, and the one in volvo's? Though I do know that Volvo has used Mitsubishi turbo's for most of their cars.
