Pump gas is fine as long as you arent running extreme ammounts of boost. Just bolting on the TBird isnt going to change anything in terms of your boost level, you'll just notice it wont drop off like the stock turbo does.

Adamturbo adjustable cam gear. You can see that he made it out of a stock cam gear, pretty clever actually.

I know that Dutch626 bought one. PM him, or adam for more info.

can't you just buy offset keys to adjust the cam timing? i haven't looked into this for my mx-6, but back in the day when i owned a 89 shelby daytona i rember reading about offset cam keys to adjust the cam timing. anybody have any experience with offset keys (mx-6s or other cars too)?

mazda does not use keys to locate the cam gear. it is a pin on the face of the gear that goes into the small hole off center to the center hole ( see pic above) . my newest gears have markings on them in 1 degree incraments. they are set to stock when i send them.

k so adam when you want to figure out the measurements when making it you just makr off you incriments when its bolted on in stock position then make your grooves for adjustment and then etch in the 1 * marks that you measured when it was bolted on stock.

I'd suggest learning the english language before attempting to communicate with it.

first off. the reason why i am using an ajustable gear is:
1st: my head has been machined wich will shorten the deck hieght bringing the cam closer to the crank so i need to adjust it back.
2nd: i am using a performance cam and need to tune the cam timing with the crank.

the price of a modded gear is 90 u.s shipped. but YOU supply the gear.

markings are based on stock timing. you can advance or retard in 1/2 a degree incraments to a total of 20 degree adjustability. please note that you would not need to adjust it 20 degreese.
