Can the ZE be swapped over to a precidia without too many issues?

Hey guys, a buddy at work just bought a '92 Precidia, and wanted more power, I just wanted to check with you guys to see what was needed to install a ZE in one, or if thats even possible. He has the 1.8L V6 (with a 5speed) in there right now.

All I can contribute is that it should be a curved neck.
ZE's into MX-3s should be easy peasy. They came with KLDEs as well. Just find one in a junkyard to grab the mounts from.
unfortunatly the mx3's did not come with a klde, they came with the k8(1.8l v6). but that said the swap from a 6cyl mx3 to a klze can be done fairly easily but you will need a complete uncut wiring harness and ecu from the klze. now the swap that I am doing is more difficult in going from the 4cyl to the klze, that involves new mounts and a host of other things, I am actually thinking of getting a MX6 or MX3 v6 donor car to used for parts for the swap if I can ever get the time to put it in the garage and work on it.

Send him to MX-3.com and he can find a lot of good information there on the swap....

Good luck
Huh. I coulda swore MX-3s came with 2.5s.... well, with the sheer number of MX-3s with KLZE's it can't be that hard of a swap... Just about every MX-3 I see for sale on Kijiji in the area has one in it.

yeah thats what I was worried about, hes not in the least mechanically inclined, or able to pay somebody to do it, and I dont have the time or the care to do the swap myself. hmm....

Alright we'll have to track down a parts car and find a ZE with full electrics.
Define ALL the electrical, meaning everything right to the plug in connectors throughout? would that be compatable with the MX3 connections?
I wonder if you can't just get a ZE, the ZE ECU and use the wiring harness from a MX-6 or Probe?
