In my probe I cant feel the power drop after 5100 rpm like I can on the mx6. The probe is turbo but the power curve should be simillar right? On the mx6 I feel the power drop sharply at around 5k.

I wonder if my probe is a freak with a different power curve.

You're comparing a non-turbo and a turbo engine and don't expect there to be power curve differences? The n/a is a slug compared to the turbo, especially at high revs. Believe me, I've owned both as well. The 2.2Ln/a makes pretty much just noise above 5000 rpms. The 2.2L turbo also drops off, but a bit later.

its not that i didnt expect there to be a difference. I just never have shifted above 5.1k or so because on the na there is no point in taking it above 5.1k. So I never tried taking the turbo past that point.
