car ****s it self when brakeing

was driving to night im my gen2, 4 of as egging each other on, and we were mucking around, had the car doing 140-150 when i stepped on the brakes, to slow down! and the car **** it self, well i mean, the car steering wheel was jumping all over the place, it felt like the hole car was jumping up and down, well i dont mean 5ft in the air, but enough to sracy someone!

i also cheaked the brakes when i got home, to see if they were warped, but they were good as new, brakes were fine, the rest of the trip was fine, "just braking at more then 120 when the car just freaked"

this has never happened b4

:confused

How are your shock absorbers, sounds familiar to a onld Commy I drove, when the abs activated or when the wheels slightly locked it would thump hard.

shocks are cool, they were done when the brakes were done, and that was about 5000kms ago!

The MichelinMan, your car sounds like mine but i got a reason for mine :) old and abused..

But anyway...shocks or loose suspension will cause for it too jump and lift under braking.

I had a warped rotor and the whole car shuddered bad when braking from 120km/h but when i braked harder the shudder went out.. But you would be extremly to see a warped rotar because a heavly warped one would be violent at low speeds but at high speeds a slightly warped one is noticable.

How hard where you on the pedal ? What was the road like ?

How are your tyres ?

But for scary try doing 175km/h on a bumpy ass road with a weak shockie :D passenger made me slow down....:D

it was just a normal brake, light and easy.....just to slow the car down, normal tarmack road, and i got yokois 306's on the front and es100 on the back, i did rotate the tyres about 2weeks ago,
and the crap ons are on the front know

after doing this my steerin wheel is 3mm rights and the car just dont grip as much as it used to, 'im really thinking about putting the es100s back on the front know'

but ya....."the cars also got know suspension put in, i know this for a fact because i put them in"

Actually it was me who changed the thread title :)

Had to try out the new mod tools...hehehe

No offence taken, just thought a more descriptive thread title would see better replies...but glad you got it sorted.

Make sure you keep your nuts tight ;)

So the NEW MOD IS trying out his new powers Himmmm
Don't let it get to your head.

gee your lucky you caught that out. I remeber this S15 silvia from Japan off the truck pushing it into car yard crash wheel feel off and so did the back ones. Amazing but minimum damgae but screwed 3 wheels up. they stopped the car from landing on the suspension. lucky the owner was putting on some 19 chromes.

Reminds us all to check our NUTS (you know which ones I mean, mind you better check the just as important ones as well- Cancer -NO good man )
