Recently my car failed the California smog test. I changed a few parts (Modified parts, e.g. headers and intake) and went back to the smog center, only to find out that it did not only fail, but, it was now labeled as a Gross Polluter.

So to make a long story short - I was failing the HC's count (393), so, I had the car checked. It appears that when I recently changed my distributor.... Somehow my timing was thrown-off to 31 degrees BTDC and it is supposed to be 12 degrees. This fixed everything and my car passed with flying colors. HC count at the end was (59)
