vacuum leak or bad o2's try those out...
car sputters at 3500 rpm's
Just changed a 4cyl engine in my 96 mx6 atx and the rpm's drop and raise at 3500 rpm's runs fine before and after 3500 and CEL not on any Ideas?

I take it you have the same year computer for an auto '96 in the car? Otherwise, the ECU may not be fully compatible. In '96, it is OBDII for most of the year and all of '97.
